How can I make my spray tan last longer?

There are several different things to help make your spray tan last. To learn more about what to do and what not to do, check out our After You Get Sprayed page.

What kind of clothes do I bring?

Always make sure to bring dark colored, loose fitting clothing. Anything restrictive can get ruined as well as ruin your spray tan. You should not wear leggings, spaghetti strap shirts, jeans, etc. Your spray will get messed up if you do not come prepared.

What do I need to do before I get sprayed?

The 3 main things you need to remember are:
Shower
Shave
Exfoliate

How long will my spray tan last?

Each spray should last you 7-10 days if you take care of it properly. And, if you will follow our guidance with how to properly maintain your spray tan, it can last up to 14 days. See how to properly care for your spray tan, check out our Before You Get Sprayed and After You Get Sprayed pages.

Will your spray tan turn me orange?

No! Spray tan solution has come a long way over the last few years. We have tested more 50 different solutions over the last 10 years and haven’t found anything that compares to the solution we offer. Automatic spray tan booths use cheap spray tan solutions which WILL turn you orange. But we only offer top of the line products that have a violet and brown base rather than the red and orange solutions you get from a booth.

If I sign up for the multi-month or year package, can I cancel?

The only time you are able to withdraw or cancel you package is if you move more than 50 miles away from your current residence. We have to have a copy of a utility bill or change of address form that you have filed to go in your client profile.

Why am I burning?

There are a couple of things to think about:
1) Are you using the proper bed for your skin type?
2) Are you staying too long and becoming overly exposed?
3) Are you using lotion?
4) Are you on any medication?

Our staff is fully trained to help determine the reason for burning. ALWAYS tell an employee if you have gotten burned the previous visit.

Do I have to use lotion?

The short answer…yes! So much so we have dedicated an entire page of info and reasons why this is so. When you lay out at the beach do you lay out with no lotion, oil, or sunscreen on? Of course not. Here is why it is more important to wear lotion indoors.

What are the different “levels” of tanning?

We have 4 different levels of tanning here. The higher the level, the more bronzing (less burning) the bed. The lower the level, the more reddening the bed is. To find out which level you need, check out our Tanning Beds page

How long should I tan?

This is a tricky one because everyone’s skin is different. We have trained employees to ask specific questions and determine the best tan time for you when you first come in. When you come in for the 2nd visit, we always ask how you did the previous visit. If for some reason, you got pink we will suggest you stay at the current tan time or even less time until you aren’t getting pink anymore. Our job is to help you build your tan, not get burned.

What kind of bed do I need to use?

Everything depends on the type of skin you have. We have 4 different types of beds here. Check out our Tanning Beds page to see which bed is best suited for your skin.
